I wanted a sticky note app. I work between several windows, apps, tabs, etc. So, I went looking for one. There are loads of them! If you don't mind: Freemium, Free to try, MS store lock in. And following links all over the frikkin internet just to end up back where you were.

Ultimately my options were limited. So I decided to make my own Sticky note thing. A bit of playing with code and I got this little guy - and he is (even if I say so myself - frikkin cute)

I would appreciate at least $1.99. Not because that is what I think Chalkboard is worth, but because I need to make money, and any money is good money. If you cannot pay $1.99 - pay what you can.

Chalkboard is a cross-platform, standalone application designed to be the simplest and most visually appealing sticky note tool for desktop users.

Built with Python and CustomTkinter, it features a unique dark green chalkboard theme with crisp white text, providing a focused, distraction-free environment. Unlike bulky alternatives, Chalkboard remains always-on-top, ensuring your reminders are never lost behind other windows.

The app boasts excellent performance, opening rapidly, and includes key user features like custom dragging, a theme toggle (for light mode use), and a dedicated Dismiss button.

Did You Know:

Use keyboard shortcuts to Select all = CTRL + A, or , to copy something, highlight it, use your CTRL button + C. When you want to put it down somewhere, click on the page, select CTRL + V - Ba-Boom!!!

Not enough to have just one Chalkboard on your desktop? Double click the icon - gets you another one. Keep doing this until you cant see the icon anymore! It's fun if you're bored.'

While packaged as a single 29MB executable using PyInstaller, this size provides zero-dependency portability and native feel across Windows systems.
